Quote follow-up

A quote with no answer gets a follow-up after three days. On its own, in your tone.

The problem

The quote went out, and then nothing. Not because the customer said no, but because nobody followed up — not you, because the day was full, and not them, because they forgot. After two weeks it is cold.

The quote goes out and then nothing happens, because nobody in the day-to-day has time to ask. The automation remembers every open quote and follows up after a set interval, with a sentence you approved beforehand. When the customer answers, it stops.

How it runs

  1. 1

    The quote goes out

From the program you already use. The flow remembers the date and the customer.

  2. 2

    A window runs

Three days by default. If the customer answers before that — by any route — nothing further happens.

  3. 3

    One single follow-up

A sentence you approved beforehand, in your tone. No sequence, no pressure.

  4. 4

    Then it stops

There is no second and third reminder. Someone who does not answer did not want to — repeated chasing costs more reputation than it brings in work.

What is verified

  • Workflow validator: 0 errors, 0 warnings
  • 10 of 10 steps reachable from the trigger
  • Tested against 6 real quote payloads (Jobber, Housecall Pro)
  • 7 decision cases checked, incl. “already handled” and “no quote ID”
  • If the customer answers first, no follow-up is sent

Not proven yet: Not yet run against a live job system with real customers.

Who this is for

  • ·Businesses that send written quotes
  • ·Anyone with jobs above a few hundred euros

If you close on site and never send quotes, you do not need this.

Common questions

Is that not pushy?

A follow-up after three days is normal; most customers are glad to be reminded. That is also why it stays at one.

What if the customer answered by phone?

Then it has to be in the system, otherwise the flow follows up. How that fits together at your place gets settled beforehand.

Can I change the wording?

Yes, and you should. The text is agreed with you before it goes live.

What it costs

A fixed price after a short audit, in writing beforehand — because the cost depends on what the flow replaces at your place. No hourly rates.
