Voice agent
Answers when you cannot. Asks name, matter, number to call back, and passes it on to you.
The problem
Between 5pm and 8am, over lunch and on holidays nobody reaches you. An answering machine helps little — most people hang up, and those who do leave a message often leave only "call me back" with no idea what about.
For the hours when nobody can pick up: an agent answers, says plainly that it is not a person, takes the name, the matter and a number to call back, and passes it all on to you. It sells nothing and promises nothing. It makes sure the call is not lost.
How it runs
- 1
The agent answers
And says in its first sentence that it is not a person. That is not politeness but the foundation: an agent pretending to be human burns the caller's trust.
- 2
It takes down what it is about
Name, matter, number to call back. It sells nothing, promises nothing and quotes no prices.
- 3
You get it all as text
No recording to listen through — the details are there to read, with a timestamp.
- 4
You call back
Knowing what it is about. The first conversation does not start from nothing.
Status
This flow is described but not built yet — it stands here as an offer, not as evidence. Four of the eight are built and verified; which ones is on the work page.
Who this is for
- ·Businesses with out-of-hours or emergency cover
- ·Practices with heavy call volume
- ·Anyone answering the same questions on the phone every day
If your customers react badly to automated voices, this is the wrong flow.
Common questions
Does the caller notice it is a machine?
Yes, they are told in the first sentence. It is built that way and does not get switched off.
Can it book an appointment?
Not by default. It takes details and passes them on; everything else is your call.
What if somebody insists on a person?
Then it says you will call back and takes the number. It never claims it can fetch someone who is not there.
What it costs
A fixed price after a short audit, in writing beforehand — because the cost depends on what the flow replaces at your place. No hourly rates.
